Body Love. Kelly Le Veque

So today I am reviewing the book Body Love by Kelly le Veque

I bought the book because of the title. For those of you who follow me I love to learn and learning is something that really makes me happy. And I thought this book was about just what the title implies.

Well yes it is but it is very much more than that. It is about how to implement amazing nutrition into you life bit by bit so that your body is at its best. So your cells are alive.

Before starting her consulting business, Be Well By Kelly, she worked in the medical field for Fortune 500 companies like J&J, Stryker, and Hologic, eventually moving into personalized medicine, offering tumor gene mapping and molecular subtyping to oncologists. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and completed her Post Graduate Clinical Nutrition education through UCLA and UC Berkeley. Kelly is a regular contributor for numerous health, wellness and lifestyle publications. She rounded out her education with a number of other certifications including being certified as a Health Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, certified as a 200 Hr Yoga Instructor though American Yoga School and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCA-CPT)® through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Kelly tells it to you in a structured way, Giving you the background on the nutrients and foods and what is good and not so good for you body to function. I found that it was easy to follow and the recipes and smoothies that I have tried so far are delicious and easy to create. For me I am not one who likes to spend a lot of time in the kitchen especially with fiddly recipes.

I started following the plan and within a week I was on a high. I felt more energetic more vibrant and I could feel myself slimming down.

I loved this book and as per usual I listened to it on audible but I am thinking of picking myself up the hard copy as I have revisited and revisited this book 3 or more times now.

I love learning everything about nutrition and so the science part of this book was intriguing to me. To others it may not be but I love it as I mentioned.

Kelly outlines the #fab4smoothie which consists of Fat Fibre Protein and Greens and to me that makes it easy when preparing any meal I like to make sure I have each of the nutrients in each and every meal.

I love smoothies for breakfast and now don't have anything else unless we go out for breakfast. I have found I feel alot better and using the fab4 I sometimes get to 3 pm and realised I haven't had any lunch. It is designed to keep you satiated.

So if you are looking to find the balance you need. To find a way to maintain your own bodies healthy weight then I suggest reading this book and start using the plan. One of the things I love about Kelly is that she doesn't bang on about dieting, she is simply trying to help you create a healthy system for you body to function how it needs to. We each are biochemically diverse and our bodies all work in different ways.
